Abstract

Ordina Finance Business Solutions has developed an architecture for integrating backoffice systems, the Servicelaag. This architecture has a specific functional and a technical part. The Servicelaag is offering an integral view on products and customers to all frontoffice systems. This is done by offering services. A new delopment in the area of servicebased architectures are webservices. Webservices gives the opportunity to offer functionality to other (external) parties. This can be done over, but not necessarily, the Internet. In offering functionality to third parties access to these services are important, to exclude users that don't have the necessary rights. New technologies for security on webservices are being discussed and what they can offer at this moment.
