Title: The Software Product Management Workbench: A Tool Supporting the Daily Activities of the Product Manager
Abstract
Being a product manager in a Product Software company means that special
challenges have to be overcome, this in contrast to tailor made software
companies. Many processes in a market driven software company can
potentially be improved when research is increased. Potential benefit
could be gained if the product manager is helped by a tool which supports
him with managing the Market Driven Requirements Engineering (MDRE)
processes.
In this talk I will discuss the problems Product Software companies face.
After this I will talk about the Software Product Management Workbench,
which is a tool I designed that supports the Product Manager with his
daily activities.
