Title: Having 'Fun' with RPM
Abstract
RPM (short for RPM Package Manager) is a popular tool on Linux
and other UNIX operating systems to manage software installations on
machines. Despite its popularity and widespread use it has its drawbacks. In
this talk I will try to show why and where RPM fails and try give solutions
within the RPM system, if any are possible. Most of the results were
acquired during research related to the ST-lab buildfarm.
