Grading

The grading of the course will be a combined grade of your talk and paper. Both grades are given by the staff member appointed to you for the paper. In the absence of said staff member, the grade for the talk can be given by another staff member. A high level of participation during the talks of others can positively influence your final mark.

When you have completed your talk, written your paper (both having been graded) and you have attended the necessary amount of talks, then you ask us, typically the person who judged your paper and talk, but otherwise Piet van Oostrum, to compute the final grade and submit it to the student administration.
