Functional Design Patterns
Stc
Date: 2005-12-12 Time: 9:30-10:30 Room: BBL room 509 ----+++ Speaker: [[Students.NielsReyngoud][Niels Reyngoud]] ----+++ Title: Functional Design Patterns ----+++ Abstract During the development of software systems, developers face the same problems over and over again. Since many applications share similar functionality, not only their underlying technical structure, but also their functionality is suitable for reuse. Functional similarities between multiple applications are described in so-called functional design patterns. Patterns of this type describe generic solutions to recurring functional problems in such a way that they can be applied to similar applications to be built in the future. This eases the process of making a functional design and at the same time increases the quality of the deliverables of this development phase.
