Title: Comparing program plagiarism detection tools
Abstract
In this talk I will discuss the results of the comparison of several
tools for detecting plagiarism in Java source code texts. (Including
Marble, developed by Jurriaan Hage, and currently in use at our department)
I have compared the tools based on the features that they support, and
how they support them. To compare their performance, I have applied
the tools to all incarnations of a 1st year's programming assignment,
and a set of intentionally plagiarized programs.
