Check your registration status (as a student).

Have you completed your registration procedure or are you still marked as "pre-active"?

Register for you first courses, and get the needed books ASAP!

Your first courses are probably Software Engineering and Functional Programming Languages And Compilers. If you did your bachelor here at CS Utrecht you probably don't need the second one, and can choose an elective course.

Study the Software Technology curriculum

You should know how many ECTS you need; what are your mandatory courses; whether you need deficiency courses, and so on. The curriculum can be found here:

Find out how to get information about a course. E.g. if you want to know what it is about, when it is given, or if you want to look at some sample slides. Check for example the course Software Engineering.

Write your study plan!

There is a formal requirement that you must have an approved study plan. So write one, make an appointment with your mentor to discuss it, and have it approved by him/her. Templates for the plan can be found here:
