[[http://haskell.org/hoogle/][Hoogle]] lets you search for functions by name or by type, and provides links from the result to the documentation for these functions. Trying these may give you an answer faster than
contacting the teachers, especially outside of working hours.

Almost anything you might want to know about Haskell can be found by perusing [[http://www.haskell.org/][the Haskell webpages]]. The sheer wealth of information in these pages can be overwhelming, but browsing through is well worth the effort.

Finally, as a last recourse, you can ask questions on the [[HaskellMailingLists][Haskell Mailing Lists]], or the [[Chat][Haskell Internet Relay Chat channels]]. The people in the Haskell community tend to be very friendly and open towards newcomers and students, helping where they can. We advise you to read [[http://www.haskell.org/haskellwiki/Homework_help][this page on homework help]] if you intend to do so. The text is somewhat brutal, but following its advice may lead to you getting an answer you understand rather than getting an answer your teachers might have trouble to decipher.
