Course Exercises

Afp0405

The exercises

The following five (small) exercises have to be completed either alone or in pairs.

The marks

Each exercise will be graded with a '-', 'o', 'v', or 'g', and each of these grades corresponds to a score between 0 and 10. The overall result for the five exercises is computed by taking the average.

Mark Score Description
- 0 Missing. No submission, or no serious attempt to tackle the exercise.
o 3 Insufficient. The basic requirements were not fulfilled.
v 6 Adequate. The problem was solved properly.
g 10 Excellent. The problem was tackled in an elegant way, or some additional feature has been dealt with.

Note that in order to pass the whole course, the average score for your exercises has to be 6 or higher (that is, the scores for the five exercises have to add up to at least 30).
