The following five (small) exercises have to be completed either alone or in pairs.
Each exercise will be graded with a '-', 'o', 'v', or 'g', and each of these grades corresponds to a score between 0 and 10.
The overall result for the five exercises is computed by taking the average.
| Mark || Score || Description |
| - || 0 || Missing. No submission, or no serious attempt to tackle the exercise. |
| o || 3 || Insufficient. The basic requirements were not fulfilled. |
| v || 6 || Adequate. The problem was solved properly. |
| g || 10 || Excellent. The problem was tackled in an elegant way, or some additional feature has been dealt with. |
Note that in order to pass the whole course, the average score for your exercises has to be 6 or higher (that is, the scores
for the five exercises have to add up to at least 30).
