If you are a master/doctoral student of the Software Technology group, and you are looking for a thesis project to conclude your stay, consider spending 40 ects working on a project in *Top*. [[http://www.cs.uu.nl/intra/Thesis/ProgramAnalysis][A list of available projects]] (restricted access). [[Top.People][Here]] you can find a list of the people formerly or currently involved, including the work of current and past master students. This should give you an impression of the kind of work they do, and you might be doing. To be eligible for a project within *Top*, you must have passed the courses [[http://www.cs.uu.nl/education/vak.php?vak=INFOGONT&jaar=2004][Grammars and Parsing]], and [[Master.ImplementationOfProgrammingLanguages][Implementation Of Programming Languages]] in one their respective incarnations. Students who have done at least one of the following courses [[Master.AutomaticProgramAnalysis][Automatic Program Analysis]], [[Master.TypeSystems][Type Systems]], or a seminar of similar content, such as [[Master.EfficientImplementationOfFunctionalLanguages][Efficient Implementation of Functional Languages]]), have a definite advantage. An interest in _program analysis_ and _programming languages_ in general is a must. If you have an idea for a thesis which fits in well with what we do, then we are happy to hear about it. For instance, you might see an opportunity to exploit our work in a company setting. -- Main.JurriaanHage - 19 Dec 2004
