Date: 2009-01-15 Time: 11:45 Room: BBL room 471 ----+++ Speaker: Mathijs Swint ----+++ Title: Pugs, Bootstrapping Perl 6 with Haskell ----+++ Abstract Perl 6 is the latest incarnation of the Perl language developed by Larry Wall. It features some radical changes from the current Perl specification and will not be compatible with Perl 5. Pugs is intended to be a bootstrapping Perl 6 compiler. Its initial release was developed quickly using Haskell.
