JURIX-03 Accommodation

Conference attendants should book their own accommodation. For booking information, see the addresses and websites listed below, or book via the Utrecht Tourist Board, where also maps can be found showing the locations of the hotels mentioned below. We arranged special rates for JURIX participants in the following two hotels (Please mention "JURIX-03 conference" with your booking):

  • NH Centre Utrecht Hotel, Janskerkhof 10, tel. +31-30-2313169. Conference rate: 105 euro (breakfast of 13 euro and 5% city tax not included). Conference rate and availability of a limited number of rooms guaranteed till November 1st.
    This attractive 3-star hotel is located at the heart of the historic city centre, with the conference venues and main sights within easy walking distance, and at 10 minutes walking distance from Utrecht Central Station.
  • Maliehotel, Maliestraat 2, tel +31-30-2316424. Conference rates: standard single room 94,50 euro; deluxe single room 104,50 euro (breakfast included; 5% city tax not included). Conference rates and availability of a limited number of rooms guaranteed till November 20.
    This is a 4-star hotel located at 20-30 minutes walking distance from the conference venue, just outside the city centre. Bus lines 4 and 11 run to the centre (stop Janskerkhof, in front of NH Centre Hotel) in 7 minutes and to Central Station in 10 minutes (frequency 15 minutes).
Some other suggested hotels are
  • Hotel Ouwi, F.C. Dondersstraat 12 14 Bis, tel. +31-30-2716303. This is a nice 2-star hotel near the Maliehotel, with standard single rooms for 70 euro (breakfast and city tax included) and single rooms with shared bath and toilet for 55 euro.
  • Strowis, Boothstraat 8, tel. +31-30-2380280. This is a guest house / youth hostel in the heart of the city centre near Janskerkhof and the conference venue. Rooms are cheap (singe 45 euro, not including breakfast) but have no private facilities.
