Utrecht Shape Matching Library Agreement
SHAME - Shape Matching Environment
In the following we will refer to the Utrecht Shape Matching Environment
as SHAME library.
The goal of the SHAME libratry is to develop new techniques, technology,
and algorithms for shape analysis and matching. Universiteit Utrecht has
intellectual properry right, copyright, and ownership of the software and
is the principal distributor of the SHAME library.
Release of the dataset:
To advance the state-of-the-art in shape matching and applications, the
SHAME library is made available to the researcher community. All other uses
of the SHAME library will be considered on a case-by-case basis. To use a
copy of the SHAME library, the requestor must agree to observe the restrictions
The researcher(s) agrees to the following restrictions on the SHAME library:
1. Redistribution: Without prior written approval from the Universiteit
Utrecht, the SHAME library, in whole or in part, will not be further
distributed, published, copied, or disseminated in any way or form
whatsoever, whether for profit or not. This includes further distributing,
copying or disseminating to a different facility or organizational unit in
the requesting university, organization, or company.
2. Modification and Commercial Use: Without prior approval from the
Universiteit Utrecht, the SHAME library, in whole or in part, may not be
modified or used for commercial purposes.
3. Citation/Reference: All documents and papers that report on research
that uses the SHAME library must acknowledge the use of the dataset by
including an appropriate citation to the following:
