GUIDLINES ON PREPARING AN EXTENDED ABSTRACT

"...The program committee normally consists of established researchers from a broad variety of fields. Therefore someone preparing an extended abstract can safely assume that a large portion of the committee will not be experts in the topic of the paper. These are precisely the readers to whom the abstract should be directed. Of course, correctness and newness of the claimed results is necessary for acceptance, but this alone is generally not sufficient. It is also crucial that the importance of the work be understood by the committee in general..."

SPECIFIC GUIDLINES FOR IPCO 2001
The length of an extended abstract for IPCO 2001 should be at most 10 double spaced, 11 pt, single column. The text area on a page should not exceed xx cm by yy cm (zz in by bb in) respectively. The first page should contain the name of all authors, and postal address and e-mail address of the corresponding author.
Submissions should be sent in postscript format to ipcopaper@cwi.nl. Please use plain postscript format. We do not accept compressed or encoded files.
If you are unable to make an electronic submission, please send 9 hard copies by airmail, postmarked on or before October 27, 2000 to:
