In this mastercourse on E-business & ICT-alignment, we will focus on the relationships between organizations. Cooperation between organizations has become a strategic activity and takes many forms. Firms intensify their outsourcing activities, integrate supply chains, invest in customer and supplier relationship management, form strategic alliances and partnerships, etcetera. How can ICT help organizations to achieve win-win relationships with their environment, considering the increase in interdependencies and interorganizational coordination problems? In this course this challenge is addressed from both an organizational and technological perspective. In practice, students will jointly perform a scientific research project to apply different theoretical and empirical approaches to the subject.
Literature:We use a book and some scientific articles.
Book: D. Chaffey. E-Business and E-Commerce Management, Strategy, Implementation and Practice, 4th edition (ISBN 978-0-273-71960-1).
The articles will be provided during the course.
