| Contents: | The Internet is one of the most visible application of computer science in the world.
In this course we look at how the Internet can be programmed, largely by means
of a large concrete case study of making a website. Using the examples, the student
can study relevant techniques and tools for developing distributed applications for the Internet.

| Literature: | Deitel, Deitel en Nieto: Internet and World Wide Web, how to program.
Prentice Hall, ISBN 0-13-030897-8. This book is recommended, because it
gives a caleidoscopic view of the many technologies and techniques that
exist with plenty of examples. To this will be added information from the Web,
slides. Some more specialized books will be listed on the website for reference.
