Contents:The MBI Colloquium provides both a platform for exchanging experiences and knowledge, and is a COMPULSARY part of every student performing his/her thesisproject. The Colloquia are recommended for other MBI-students.

Course form:Weekly Seminar on Wednesday from 09:00 to 11:00. The bi-weekly MBI Student Colloquium is mandatory for every MBI student, executing his/her thesis project. Every other week the Colloquium provides new insights in the field of Information Science by the O&I-staff (MBI Staff Colloquium). This bi-weekly session is recommended for all MBI-students.

Exam form:The 4 ECTS-points are part of the overall thesis grade. Deliverables of the MBI Colloquium for students are: 1) Thesis proposal document, 2) 3 colloquia presentations, 3) (scientific) paper or article for a local or international conference/journal. Taking actively part in the Colloquia plays a role in the overall MBI-finalization.
Minimum effort to qualify for 2nd chance exam:Om aan de aanvullende toets te mogen meedoen moet de oorspronkelijke uitslag minstens 4 zijn.
