Assignment week 14: Peer review

For your reviewer role, please follow these instructions:

  • Download the two draft papers from the Wiki and read them.
  • Prepare for both papers a question that you can ask after the presentations of the concerning methods. In the tables below is indicated for who you have to prepare the questions. If, at the workshop, you do not have any questions prepared, we will deduct one point of your own presentation grade.
  • Review the document. Pay attention to structure, content, spelling, grammar and layout. You can (1) use the review mode in MS Word, (2) write your comments in a new document, (3) use comments in Adobe Acrobat, or (4) print out the paper and do it the old-fashioned way. In the last case, please scan the document afterwards. In addition, download and fill out this review form.
  • Attach your reviews (both the review form and the original paper with your comments on it) to the concerning Wiki page at April 5, 17.00h. Please note that this deadline is very strict. Failing to upload your work in time or failing to deliver a serious peer review will result in the deduction of one point per day from your final paper grade, starting on April 5, 17.00h.
