WG 2003: Location
WG 2003 will be held in Conference Centre Mennorode in Elspeet, the
Netherlands. Mennorode is a modern conference and hotel facility.
The hotel has a number of sports facilities and has a beautiful and very
quiet location in the middle of a forest.
How to reach
Public transportation
When coming by public transportation, the easiest way to reach the conference
centre is to take a train to station Nunspeet.
To reach Nunspeet, first take a train to Amersfoort or Zwolle.
Then take the stoptrain that goes between Amersfoort and Zwolle; this train
also stops at Nunspeet.

- Deutsche Bahn. Website of German railways
company. Their travel planner (in German) also allows to search for
connections on the Dutch railway net.
You can reach the conference centre from Nunspeet in two ways:
- An easy and very affordable way to reach the conference center is by
treintaxi.
Treintaxi is an inexpensive form of taxi;
at a train station you can buy a ticket for
3.80 euro for a treintaxi that will bring you from the Nunspeet train
station to the conference centre. At the train station, you should go to the
treintaxi stand. If there is no taxi present, contact the taxi firm by
pressing the button for treintaxi; yoou can also reach the taxi firm by
telephone at 0341-256248.
- By bus. Take bus 112 in the direction of Elspeet, and leave the bus at
stop Elspeet Centrum. It is less than 10 minutes walking to the
conference centrum. The bus takes about 10 minutes.
Mennorode can also be reach by a longer busride from the train stations of
Apeldoorn or Harderwijk.
By car
You can first go to Zwolle, Amersfoort, or Apeldoorn.
When you come from Zwolle: take the A28. Take exit 14 'Elspeet/Nunspeet',
direction Elspeet. Enter the village of Elspeet by the Nachtegaalweg (one
direction traffic). At a T-crossing left (Staverdenseweg). On the next
T-crossing richt, direction Uddel/Apeldoorn (Uddelerweg). After approximately
400 meters outside Elspeet left (Heetkamp).
After 1.2 km you cross the Apeldoornseweg and the entrance to Mennorode is at
your right side.
When you come from Amersfoort or Apeldoorn:
Take exit 18 'Kootwijk/Harderwijk', direction Harderwijk (N302).
After 5 km richt direction Elspeet.
Directly after the informationpanel (at busstop 'Kleine Kolonieweg')
go right: Heetkamp.
After 1.2 km you cross the Apeldoornseweg and the entrance to Mennorode is at
your right side.
